Jami at-Tirmidhi 2279 (Book 34, Hadith 10) #27912
The Power of Dreams

SUMMARY: Dreams are a part of Prophet-hood and should not be spoken of, as it will lose its power.

Waki' bin 'Udus narrated from Abu Razin that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: " The Muslim's dreams are a portion of the forty-six portions of Prophet-hood. And it is (as if it is) on the leg of a bird, as long as it is not spoken of. But when it is spoken of it falls".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the power of dreams and how they are connected to Prophet-hood. It is said that dreams are one of the forty six portions of Prophet-hood, which means that they have a special significance in Islam. The hadith also states that when a dream is spoken about, it loses its power and falls like a bird's leg. This suggests that we should keep our dreams to ourselves and not share them with others as this will reduce their impact on us. We can learn from this hadith that our dreams can be powerful tools for understanding our lives if we keep them private and use them wisely.
