Combining Stinginess and Bad Manners is Unacceptable for a Believer

SUMMARY: A believer should not possess both stinginess and bad manners.

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Two traits are not combined in a believer: Stinginess and bad manners".

stinginess  *  manners  *  belief

QUICK LESSONS:
Practice generosity & politeness in daily life.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of having good manners and avoiding stinginess in a believer's life. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that these two traits should never be combined in a believer as they are incompatible with each other. Being stingy means to be unwilling to spend or give away one's wealth while bad manners refer to any behavior that is considered rude or impolite. Therefore, this hadith encourages believers to practice generosity and politeness in their daily lives as these are qualities of a true believer.
