QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest , Be generous , Show gratitude .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us about the consequences of being dishonest, miserly, and ungrateful. Dishonesty is when someone does something wrong or illegal to benefit themselves at the expense of others. Miserliness is when someone refuses to spend money on things they need or on helping others in need. Ungratefulness is when someone does not show appreciation for what they have been given or for what has been done for them by others. All three behaviors are considered sins in Islam and this hadith tells us that those who practice these sins will not be allowed into Paradise after death. We should strive to be honest with ourselves and with others; generous with our wealth; and grateful for all that we have been blessed with in life so that we can hope to enter Paradise one day.
