Choose clothing that is modest, dignified & appropriate for your religion.
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ali, Anas and Abdullah bin Amr states that the Prophet Muhammad prohibited wearing garments made of Al-Qassi and those dyed with usfur. Al-Qassi is a type of coarse fabric which was commonly used in the past for making clothes. Usfur is a type of dye which was also used to color fabrics in the past. This hadith teaches us that we should be careful about what we wear as it reflects our character and values. We should choose clothing that is modest, dignified, and appropriate for our religion. It also teaches us to be mindful about what materials are used to make our clothing as well as what dyes are used to color them so that they do not contain any impurities or substances which may be harmful or offensive to others.
