Stay away from activities related to usury/riba; Do not take part in any transaction involving ribaa; Follow the teachings of Islam regarding financial matters

This hadith is about the prohibition of usury or riba. It was narrated by Ibn Mas'ud that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) cursed those who consume riba as well as those who charge it and also those who witness it and record it. This hadith is considered to be a hasan sahih hadith which means that its chain of narrators is reliable.
