This hadith is about a journey that the Prophet Muhammad took with his companions. During this journey, they became thirsty and went quickly to find water. Abu Qatadah stayed behind to guard the Messenger of Allah while he slept. When he woke up, he thanked Abu Qatadah for guarding him and prayed that Allah would guard him in return.
