Respect agreements with others regardless if they are slaves or free men. Treat everyone equally with justice and fairness.

This Hadith is about the judgement given by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding payment of blood money in case of death of a slave who had made an agreement to purchase his freedom. The Prophet ﷺ said that if such a person dies before completing payment, then blood money should be paid at the rate of a free man for what he has already paid and at the rate of a slave as far as what remains is concerned. This Hadith teaches us that even slaves have rights and they should not be treated unjustly or unfairly. It also teaches us to respect agreements and contracts we make with others regardless if they are slaves or free men.
