The Prophet's Illness and Support

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was so ill that he had to be supported by two men while walking, one of them being Al-'Abbas and the other being 'Ali bin Abi Talib.

Narrated Az-Zuhri: Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah told me that 'Aisha had said, "When the Prophet became sick and his condition became serious, he requested his wives to allow him to be treated in my house, and they allowed him. He came out leaning on two men while his feet were dragging on the ground. He was walking between Al-'Abbas and another man"'.Ubaidullah said, "When I informed Ibn 'Abbas of what 'Aisha had said, he asked me whether I knew who was the second man whom 'Aisha had not named. I replied in the negative. He said, 'He was 'Ali bin Abi Talib".

QUICK LESSONS:
Show kindness towards others no matter what your relationship with them is like or what your circumstances are like at that time . Help those who are in need . Strive to show compassion towards others .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's illness and how his companions showed their support for him. When the Prophet became very sick and his condition became serious, he asked his wives to allow him to be treated in Aisha's house. He then came out leaning on two men while his feet were dragging on the ground; one of them was Al-'Abbas and the other was Ali bin Abi Talib. This shows us how much love and care they had for each other as companions even when times were tough. It also teaches us that we should always help those who are in need no matter what our relationship with them is like or what our circumstances are like at that time. We should always strive to show kindness towards others just as these companions did for each other during this difficult time in their lives.
