EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the things that are forbidden to pay for. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade paying money for a dog, a prostitute, and a soothsayer. Dogs are not allowed to be bought or sold because they are considered unclean animals in Islam. Similarly, prostitution is also forbidden in Islam as it goes against Islamic values and teachings. Lastly, soothsayers are people who claim to have supernatural powers and can predict the future; this practice is also prohibited in Islam as it goes against Islamic beliefs and teachings. This hadith teaches us that we should not engage in activities that go against Islamic values or beliefs as they will lead us astray from our faith.
