SUMMARY: The hadith is about how Ali, Fadl and Usamah ibn Zayd washed the Messenger of Allah and put him in his grave, with AbdurRahman ibn Awf joining them.

Narrated Amir: Ali, Fadl and Usamah ibn Zayd washed the Messenger of Allah and they put him in his grave. Marhab or Ibn AbuMarhab told me that they also made AbdurRahman ibn Awf join them. When Ali became free, he said: The People of the man serve him.

QUICK LESSONS:
Helping others in any way possible; Doing what is right out of love & kindness towards fellow human beings; Showing respect & honouring those who have passed away by washing their body & burying them properly

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of service to others. It tells us that even after death, we should serve those who have passed away by washing their body and burying them properly. This is a sign of respect for those who have gone before us. It also shows us that we should be willing to help others in any way we can, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. We should always strive to do our best for those around us, even if it means going out of our way or sacrificing something for them.

The hadith also speaks to the importance of humility and selflessness when serving others. Ali was willing to take on this task without any expectation or reward from anyone else; he simply wanted to do what was right and honourable for someone he respected deeply. This teaches us that when helping others, we should not expect anything in return but rather focus on doing what is right out of love and kindness towards our fellow human beings.
