QUICK LESSONS:
Be patient in times of difficulty instead of giving into emotions; Be mindful of how your actions affect others around you; Respect others around you; Do not cause harm or distress either directly or indirectly; Avoid wailing and listening to it .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that wailing and listening to it is forbidden. Wailing is a form of grief expressed by loud cries or lamentations. It is usually done by women when someone dies or when they are in distress. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) cursed both the woman who wails and the one who listens to her because it can lead to more sadness and distress for everyone involved. He wanted us to remember that we should be patient in times of difficulty instead of giving into our emotions. We should also be mindful of how our actions affect others around us so as not to cause them any harm or distress either directly or indirectly.
