This hadith talks about how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) distributed inheritance among his family members. Umar asked Ma'qil ibn Yasar what share was given by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) to his grandfather from his estate. Ma'qil replied that he gave him a sixth, but he did not know with whom it was shared. Umar then asked what use it was if he did not know with whom it was shared.
