QUICK LESSONS:
Seek knowledge from reliable sources before making decisions about your own life and those around you .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the permissibility of using collyrium while fasting. Collyrium, also known as kuhl in Arabic, is a type of eye makeup that was used by people in the past and still used today for aesthetic purposes or to improve vision. The hadith states that Anas ibn Malik used to apply collyrium when he was fasting, which implies that it is permissible to do so during Ramadan or any other time of fasting in Islam. This shows us that even though certain activities are prohibited during fasting such as eating and drinking, some activities are allowed if they do not break the fast or cause harm to oneself or others around them.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us through this hadith that we should be mindful of our actions and strive for moderation even when we are observing religious obligations such as fasting during Ramadan or any other time throughout the year. We should also remember that there may be exceptions to certain rules depending on individual circumstances and situations; therefore it is important for us to seek knowledge from reliable sources before making decisions about our own lives and those around us.
