QUICK LESSONS:
Take responsibility of your actions; Seek forgiveness from Allah; Be careful of your actions
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a man who made a mistake and had intercourse with his wife, mistaking her for his mother in the moonlight. When he realized what he had done, he went to the Prophet and asked what should be done. The Prophet told him that he must atone for it by repenting and seeking forgiveness from Allah. This teaches us that we must always be careful of our actions and take responsibility when we make mistakes. We should also seek forgiveness from Allah whenever we make a mistake or do something wrong so that He may forgive us and grant us His mercy.
