EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his companion Ibn 'Umar used to touch the Yamani corner and the Black Stone during circumambulations. Circumambulations are a part of Hajj rituals in which pilgrims walk around Kaaba seven times in an anti-clockwise direction. The Kaaba has four corners out of which one is known as ‘Yamani’ corner. It is believed that touching this corner brings blessings from Allah Almighty. Similarly, touching or kissing the black stone also brings blessings from Allah Almighty as it was placed by Prophet Ibrahim himself when he built Kaaba for worshiping Allah Almighty alone. Therefore, this hadith teaches us that we should follow what our beloved prophet did while performing religious rituals like Hajj or Umrah so that we can get maximum blessings from Allah Almighty.
