The Farewell Pilgrimage of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) performed the circumambulation at the Farewell Pilgrimage on a Camel and touched the corner (Black Stone) with a crooked stick.

Ibn 'Abbas said The Apostle of Allaah performed the circumambulation at the Farewell Pilgrimage on a Camel and touched the corner(Black Stone) with a crooked stick.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ طَافَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ بِمِحْجَنٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Prophet Muhammad's(ﷺ) farewell pilgrimage to Mecca, which is known as Hajjatul Wadaa. During this pilgrimage, he performed circumambulation around the Kaaba seven times on a camel and touched one of its corners, known as Hajar al Aswad or the Black Stone, with a crooked stick. This hadith teaches us that we should follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet and perform our religious duties with utmost sincerity and dedication. It also teaches us to respect all holy places and symbols associated with them like Kaaba or Black stone.
