Taking a Bath and Wearing Ihram After Giving Birth

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad commanded Abu Bakr to ask Asma, the daughter of Umais, to take a bath and wear ihram after she gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr.

'Aishah said: Asma daughther of 'Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr at Shajarah. The Messenger of Allah commanded Abu Bakr to ask her to take a bath and wear ihram.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ فَتُهِلَّ
