QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous and kind towards your neighbors; help out when needed; greet each other when you meet in public places; create a strong bond between you and your neighbor for mutual benefit; create a safe environment for everyone around you.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of being generous and kind to our neighbors. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised Aisha that she should give presents to the neighbor whose door is nearer to her. This shows us that we should not only be generous with our family and friends but also with those who are close by in our neighborhood. We should show kindness and generosity towards them as well as they are part of our community. We can do this by helping them out when needed or simply by greeting them when we see them in the street or at the mosque. By doing so we will create a strong bond between us which will benefit both parties in many ways such as creating a safe environment for everyone around us.
