This hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ delivered his sermons to his listeners. He would stand up and address them with a sermon or speech and then sit down without saying anything else afterwards. This teaches us that we should be mindful of our words when speaking to others as well as being respectful of their time by not taking too long to say what needs to be said. We should also strive for brevity in our conversations so that we can get our point across quickly and effectively while still being respectful of those around us.

The Prophet ﷺ was known for his eloquence when delivering speeches but he also knew when it was time to stop talking so that he could give others a chance to speak or ask questions if they had any. This is an important lesson for all of us; even if we have something important or interesting to say, it is best not to monopolize conversations by talking too much or going off on tangents which are unrelated to the topic at hand.
