QUICK LESSONS:
Take what is sufficient reasonably and fairly from your spouse financially.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about taking money from one's husband. Hind, the mother of Mu'awiya asked the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) if she was allowed to take money from her husband who was a miser. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) advised her that she and her sons may take what is sufficient reasonably and fairly. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to take money from one's spouse as long as it is done in a reasonable manner without taking too much or too little. It also teaches us that we should be fair when dealing with our spouses in all matters including financial ones.
