QUICK LESSONS:
Pray with dedication and respect for Allah's commands.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer and how it should be done. It is narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet was commanded to prostrate on seven limbs, which are the forehead, two hands, two knees and two feet. This means that when we pray, we should make sure that all these body parts touch the ground in order for our prayer to be accepted. We should also remember that prayer is an important part of our faith and it should not be taken lightly or neglected. We must take time out of our day to dedicate ourselves to Allah and show Him how much we love Him through prayer.
