QUICK LESSONS:
Pray respectfully and focus on worship
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Juhaifah tells us that the Prophet (ﷺ) led a prayer at al-Batha' with a staff set up in front of him. This indicates that it is permissible to pray while having something placed in front of you, such as an object or even another person. Furthermore, during this prayer, women and donkeys were passing by the staff without disrupting the prayer. This shows us that it is permissible to continue praying even when people or animals are passing by you during your salat.
