QUICK LESSONS:
Take responsibility for your role as an Imam or Mu'addhin .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of both an imam and a mu’adhhin in a community. An imam is someone who leads prayer services in a mosque or other place of worship. A mu’adhhin is someone who calls people to prayer five times a day. Both are important roles that require responsibility from those who take them on. This hadith also asks Allah to guide the imams and forgive any mistakes made by the mu’adhhins. It shows that even though these roles are important for leading people in their faith, it is still possible to make mistakes while doing so - but Allah will always be there to forgive us if we ask for it.
