EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of following the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad when it comes to performing ablution or wudu. It is narrated that Shaqiq b. Salamah saw Uthman b. Affan perform ablution and he washed his forearms three times and washed his head thrice as he had seen the Messenger of Allah do it himself. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to follow in the footsteps of their beloved prophet when it comes to religious rituals such as wudu or salat, as this was a practice that was done by him himself and should be followed by all believers today too. The hadith also teaches us about cleanliness being an important part of our faith, which is why we must take care to ensure that we are always clean before engaging in any religious activities such as prayer or fasting etc., so that we can be sure that our worship will be accepted by Allah Almighty.
