This hadith is about a tradition narrated by Abu Salim al- Jaishani on the authority of ‘ Abd Allah ibn ‘ Amr . It took place at a time when he was besieging a fort located near Alyun mountain in Fustat . The kunya or surname of Shaiban ibn Umayyah was mentioned as being "Abu Hudhaifah". This hadith teaches us to be mindful and respectful towards our elders and to always seek knowledge from them as they are more experienced than us in life matters .
