Cooking Juice to Perfection

SUMMARY: Al-Hasan advises that juice should be cooked until two-thirds of it has gone and one-third is left.

It was narrated that Bushair bin Al-Muhajir said: "I asked Al-Hasan about juice that has been cooked. He said: 'That which has been cooked until two-third of it has gone and one-third is left'."
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الْحَسَنَ عَمَّا يُطْبَخُ مِنَ الْعَصِيرِ قَالَ مَا تَطْبُخُهُ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ الثُّلُثَانِ وَيَبْقَى الثُّلُثُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of cooking juice to perfection. It was narrated by Bushair bin Al Muhajir who asked Al Hasan about the proper way to cook juice. This means that the juice should not be overcooked or undercooked but cooked just right so that its taste and texture are perfect.
