This hadith is about the prohibition of any kind of intoxicating drink, such as alcohol. It was narrated from Ibn Shubrumah who mentioned it from 'Abdullah bin Shaddad bin Al-Had, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said that khamr was forbidden in small or large amounts. This means that even a small amount of an intoxicating drink is not allowed and should be avoided by Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to stay away from anything that can cause intoxication and harm our bodies and minds. We should also remember to stay away from people who are drinking alcohol or using drugs as it can lead us to do something wrong too.
