QUICK LESSONS:
Be grateful for Allah's blessings , Use provisions responsibly
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Sa'eed bin Jubair, states that alcohol is forbidden and a goodly provision is lawful. The term 'goodly provision' refers to the sustenance that Allah has provided for us in the form of food, clothing, shelter, etc. It is important to remember that although we are allowed to enjoy these provisions from Allah, we must not forget our duty as Muslims to be grateful for them and use them responsibly. We should also remember that alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in Islam as it can lead to many negative consequences such as addiction or health problems. Therefore it is important for us to stay away from any kind of intoxicants or substances which can harm our bodies or minds in any way.
