Soaking Fruits According to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade the combination of certain fruits when soaking them.

It was narrated from Jabir that : The Messenger of Allah SAW forbade soaking raisins and Al-Busr together, and he forbade soaking Al-Busr and ripe dates together.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ الزَّبِيبُ وَالْبُسْرُ جَمِيعًا وَنَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ الْبُسْرُ وَالرُّطَبُ جَمِيعًا‏.‏

The hadith narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah states that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) prohibited combining certain fruits when soaking them. Specifically, he forbade soaking raisins and Albusr together as well as soaking Albusr and ripe dates together.
