QUICK LESSONS:
Seek refuge with Allah from negative traits .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, taught us to seek refuge in Allah from negative traits such as cowardice, miserliness, reaching a second childhood age, and trials of the heart and torment in the grave. Cowardice is when one is too afraid to do something that they should do or take a stand for what is right. Miserliness is when one does not want to spend money on things that are necessary or important. Reaching a second childhood age means becoming old and forgetting things easily or not being able to think clearly anymore. Trials of the heart are difficult tests that can cause sadness or distress while torment in the grave refers to punishment after death for those who have done wrong deeds during their life on earth. By seeking refuge with Allah from these negative traits we can strive towards living our lives according to His teachings and guidance so that we may be rewarded with His mercy in this life and hereafter.
