Clothing Below the Ankles Leads to Punishment

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) warned that clothing that falls below the ankles is a sign of arrogance and will lead to punishment in the afterlife.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that : The Prophet SAW said: "Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire".

QUICK LESSONS:
Dress modestly and respectfully
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught us an important lesson about our clothing. He said that if any part of our Izar - which is a type of garment worn by men - falls below our ankles, it is a sign of arrogance and will lead to punishment in the afterlife. This means we should be careful not to let any part of our clothing hang too low or drag on the ground as this could be seen as disrespectful and arrogant. We should also remember that Allah sees all things and knows what we do even when no one else does. Therefore, it's important for us to always dress modestly and respectfully so we can avoid punishment in the hereafter.
