Dressing Modestly According to the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) warned against letting one's clothing come below the ankles, as Allah will not look at those who do so.

It was narrated that Ash'ath said: "I heard Sa'eed bin Jubair narrate from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet SAW said: 'Allah will not look at the Musbil (the one who lets his Izar come below the ankles)'."

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Ash'ath is a warning from the Prophet Muhammad about dressing modestly. He said that Allah will not look at those who let their Izaar, or lower garment such as trousers or skirts, come below their ankles. This is an important reminder for Muslims to dress modestly and cover up in public, as it is a sign of respect for oneself and for God. It also serves as a reminder that we should be mindful of our actions and how they reflect on us in front of others. We should strive to be good examples for others by dressing appropriately and modestly according to Islamic teachings.
