QUICK LESSONS:
Do not steal anything from anyone no matter how small it may seem; Respect other people's property; Treat others with kindness; Be honest in your dealings; Tell truth always; Build strong relationships based on trust & understanding .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that stealing is an offence and it should be punished. The punishment for theft according to this hadith is cutting off of the hand if the stolen item is worth one-quarter of a Dinar or more. This means that if someone steals something which has less value than one-quarter of a Dinar, then their hand will not be cut off as punishment. It teaches us that we should not steal anything from anyone, no matter how small it may seem because it can still have serious consequences. We should also respect other people's property and not take things without permission even if they are small items like candy or toys.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to be honest in our dealings with others and to always tell the truth so that we can live in peace with each other. He also taught us to treat others with kindness and respect so that we can build strong relationships based on trust and understanding. We must remember these teachings when dealing with our peers, family members, neighbours, colleagues etc., so that everyone can benefit from living in harmony together.
