QUICK LESSONS:
Be accountable for your own actions and deeds

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the idea that no one is responsible for the sins of another person. It was narrated by Ash’ath bin Abi Ash-Sha'tha who heard it from Al-Aswad bin Hilal from a man of Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu'. The hadith tells us about a group of people from Banu Tah'labah who came to the Prophet and told him about someone they killed. The Prophet responded by saying that no soul is affected by the sin of another. This means that each individual will be held accountable only for their own actions and not those committed by others. We can learn from this hadith that we should not blame or judge others based on their mistakes or wrongdoings as everyone will be judged according to their own deeds in front of Allah on Judgment Day.
