QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest when dealing with others financially

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of paying in advance for the offspring of a pregnant animal, which is known as Habal al-Habalah. This practice was prohibited by Prophet Muhammad and it was considered to be riba, or interest. Riba is an unlawful form of earning money that involves taking advantage of someone else's misfortune or need for money. It can also involve charging extra fees on top of what has already been agreed upon between two parties. In this case, it would involve taking advantage of someone who needs to sell their animal's offspring before they are born and charging them more than what they originally agreed upon. This hadith teaches us that we should not take advantage of others in order to make a profit and that we should always be honest when dealing with others financially.
