This hadith is about the Prophet forbidding people from selling the offspring of a pregnant animal, known as Habal Al-Habalah. This means that if an animal is pregnant and has an unborn baby inside it, then it is not allowed to be sold. The Prophet wanted to protect animals and their babies from being taken away from each other before they are born. He also wanted to ensure that animals are treated with respect and kindness, which includes not separating them from their young ones before they are born.
