QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous towards others even when you are facing hardships yourself; Trust Allah to provide you with what you need; Be content with whatever you have no matter how little it may be;

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is reported that Anas bin Malik brought some barley bread and rancid oil to the Messenger of Allah. In exchange for this food, he put his armor in pledge with a Jew living in Al Madinah. This shows us how generous and kind the Prophet was towards others even when he himself was going through difficult times. He was willing to give away something as valuable as his armor just so that he could provide food for his family. This hadith teaches us about selflessness and generosity towards others even when we are facing hardships ourselves. It also teaches us about being content with whatever we have no matter how little it may be because Allah will always provide us with what we need if we trust Him enough to do so.
