Measure goods properly when buying or selling them; Do not take advantage of others while making transactions; Follow justice and fairness when dealing with others; Be accountable for one's actions; Respect other people’s rights over their property/goods etc.; Abide by laws set by Allah SWT etc..

This hadith talks about the punishment given to people who buy food unmeasured and sell it before bringing it to their own camp. This was seen by Salim's father during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is important that when buying or selling goods, they should be measured properly so that both parties are satisfied with the transaction. If not, then there will be consequences as seen in this hadith. People should also make sure that they do not take advantage of others in any way while making transactions as this is considered a sin in Islam and can lead to punishments from Allah SWT.
