EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of obedience to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar, one of the companions of the Prophet, that they used to pledge to hear and obey him. The Prophet then said that they should do so in as much as they can. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to obey and follow what our beloved prophet has taught us, even if it is difficult for us at times. We must remember that he was sent by Allah and his teachings are for our own benefit in this life and in the hereafter. We must also remember that obedience brings blessings from Allah while disobedience brings punishment from Him.
