Authority of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

SUMMARY: Abu Bakr became angry with a man and reminded him that no one has the authority to command anyone after Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

It was narrated that Abu Barzah said: "Abu Bakr became infuriated with a man". He said: "If you tell me to, I will do it". He said: "By Allah, that is not for any human being after Muhammad SAW".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ، قَالَ تَغَيَّظَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَلَى رَجُلٍ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَمَرْتَنِي لَفَعَلْتُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ مَا كَانَتْ لِبَشَرٍ بَعْدَ مُحَمَّدٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the authority of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It was narrated by Abu Barzah that when Abu Bakr became angry with a man, he reminded him that no one has the authority to command anyone after Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This hadith teaches us that we should not give orders to others as only Allah and His Messenger have the right to do so. We should also respect and obey our parents, teachers, elders, and other people in positions of authority. We should also remember that we are all equal in front of Allah regardless of our social status or position.
