QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of your health and wellbeing even when observing religious obligations such as fasting

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith discusses the permissibility of cupping while fasting. It was narrated by Thabit Al-Bunani that Anas bin Malik was asked whether they disliked the cupping for a fasting person. He replied in the negative and said, "Only if it causes weakness". This means that cupping is allowed during fasting as long as it does not cause any physical or mental weakness to the individual. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to take care of our health and wellbeing even when we are observing religious obligations such as fasting. Therefore, we should be mindful of our health and make sure that any action taken during this time does not have an adverse effect on us physically or mentally.
