Divorce and Provision

SUMMARY: A woman who has been divorced three times is not entitled to provision and shelter.

It was narrated from Fatimah bint Qais that the Prophet said: "The thrice-divorced woman is not entitled to provision and shelter".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ‏ "‏ الْمُطَلَّقَةُ ثَلاَثًا لَيْسَ لَهَا سُكْنَى وَلاَ نَفَقَةٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that a woman who has been divorced three times is not entitled to provision or shelter from her former husband. This means that the husband does not have any responsibility towards her after the third divorce. The Prophet Muhammad was teaching us about the rights of women in marriage and divorce in this hadith. He was also teaching us about how we should treat each other with respect and kindness even when our relationships end. We should always remember that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity regardless of their marital status or gender.
