QUICK LESSONS:
Show kindness and generosity towards others. Give freely without expecting anything in return.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the generosity of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah manumitted Safiyyah and made her freedom her dowry. Manumission is when someone frees a slave or servant, and in this case, it was a woman named Safiyyah who was freed by the Prophet. A dowry is usually money or property given to a bride by her family when she gets married, but in this case, it was something much more valuable - freedom! This shows how generous and kind the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was towards others. He showed us that true wealth comes from giving rather than taking.
