The Best Kind of Charity

SUMMARY: Giving charity is best when done from one's own resources and should start with those closest to you.

Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: "The best of charity is that which is given when you are self-sufficient, and start with those for whom you are responsible"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity when self-sufficient and start with those closest to you first .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Huraira, teaches us about the importance of giving charity. It is best to give charity when we are self-sufficient and have enough for ourselves, as this shows that we are not relying on others for our needs. Furthermore, it is important to start with those closest to us who may need help or support such as family members or neighbours before helping those further away from us. This hadith encourages us to be generous and kind towards others while also taking responsibility for our own lives first.
