EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, speaks about the importance of charity. It teaches us that the best kind of charity is when we are in good health and feeling generous, while hoping for a long life and fearing poverty. This means that we should give charity out of our own free will and not because we feel obligated to do so or because it is expected from us. We should also be mindful about our future and plan ahead so that we don’t fall into poverty later on in life. Giving charity can help us achieve this goal as it can bring blessings upon us from Allah SWT. Therefore, this hadith encourages us to be generous with our wealth while being mindful about our future at the same time.
