QUICK LESSONS:
Use your discretion when making decisions about what you do with your time and energy .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a conversation between Hamzah and the Messenger of Allah, in which Hamzah asked if he should fast while the Messenger of Allah was fasting. The Messenger of Allah replied that it is up to him, meaning that it is his choice whether or not to fast. This hadith teaches us that we have discretion over our own choices and actions, and we are free to make decisions based on our own judgement. We should not feel obligated or pressured into doing something just because someone else is doing it; rather, we should use our own judgement when making decisions about what we do with our time and energy.
