Increase worship and devotion to Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the practice of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, in joining the month of Shaban with Ramadan. This means that he would start preparing for the holy month of Ramadan even before it began. He would do this by increasing his worship and devotion to Allah during this time. By doing so, he was teaching us that we should always be prepared for any good deed or act of worship that comes our way. We should not wait until it is too late to start preparing ourselves spiritually and mentally for any task or obligation that we may have to fulfill in life. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about being mindful and conscious of our actions at all times as well as being aware of how our actions can affect others around us positively or negatively.
