The Blessing of Sahur

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) invited a man to have Sahur, which is the pre-dawn meal during Ramadan.

It was narrated that Khalid bin Ma'dan said: "The Messenger of Allah said to a man: 'Come to the blessed breakfast, - meaning Sahur"'.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لِرَجُلٍ ‏ "‏ هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ الْمُبَارَكِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ يَعْنِي السَّحُورَ
