This hadith is about the significance of a month. It was narrated that Muhammad bin Sad bin Abi Waqqas said that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) demonstrated how important a month is by clapping his hands three times and withholding his left thumb on the third time. This action symbolizes how each day in a month has its own importance and should be respected accordingly.
