Offer funeral prayer ; Stay until body is placed in its grave ; Show respect to deceased loved ones ; Receive rewards from Allah .

This hadith teaches us about the importance of offering funeral prayers for our deceased loved ones. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever offers a funeral prayer will receive one qirat as a reward and whoever stays until the body is placed in its grave will receive two qirats as a reward. A qirat is an immense amount of reward from Allah and it is said to be like two great mountains. This hadith encourages us to show respect for our deceased loved ones by attending their funerals and offering prayers for them so we can receive this immense reward from Allah.
